Prashant Kakad, a graduate from UDCT Mumbai, got his masters from Cornell and then worked in the deep tech sector for a while before starting Bollywood Dreams Entertainment. Bollywood Dreams Entertainment has produced small & large scale events bringing artists all the way from India to Portland, Seattle & LA. Prashant is a TEDx speaker and his startup, bollywood dreams entertainment has created dance classes & parties infused with festive elements of Indian culture.
Worst Entrepreneurial Moment:
for Prashant was when he received a letter from USCIS asking to show evidence that he had another job offer in the semiconductory industry. By this time, Prashant had quit his fulltime job at Intel, had grown Bollywood Dreams Entertainment over two years, and had twenty days to respond back to USCIS, or be deported back to India.
Best Entrepreneurial Moment:
was when he shared his love of music and mixed tapes with his friends and community. The feedback Prashant got led him to start Bollywood Dreams Entertainment.
